I'm not sure which Mercedes you mean because there are many models. If we looked at a C Class, to not pay a deposit the vehicle will need to be a used one. I'm afraid the Jaguar E Pace is a new vehicle on Contract Hire and available to customers with good credit history and who have a decent deposit to put down. Alternatively a used one could be offered on PCP leasing as long as the credit score is fair but not bad. If we cannot check your credit score then there is no way to know if you would be approved for one. Not sure where we go from here.

I am happy to look at alternatives and willing to have a soft search to see what options are available. After having a perfect credit record then not working for 2.5 years I am regaining my score and as you will appreciate I do not want to negativity impact this. A couple of questions. Do all cars advertised come as automatic as well? What happens if the car is return and scratches/scuffs etc at the end of contract? What happens if something goes wrong with the car mechanically? Do you have to pay for annual services/ if so does it have to be at specific sites? How quickly could it be arranged for a car to be delivered?

Not all cars come in automatic. If you want an automatic we would have to look at what is on offer and try and get you the best and cheapest deal possible. There is a tolerance when is comes to scratches and scuff makes. As long as they are less than a couple of cm then that would not be a worry but anything that looks like a result from a crash then it is best sorted out before you return the vehicle. All our vehicle deals come with a full warranty. You should not worry about this but if something did go wrong then this will be sorted out for you and you will not be charged for it. Yes you do have to pay for the annual maintenance, no different if the car was your own. Best to maintain the vehicle from a trusted local garage as this would cost you far less than taking out an annual maintenance contract. Most of our featured deals are available for immediate delivery. Normally once all the paper work is in place the delivery can me made within days or a week. Regardless if it is a business lease or personal the price is plus vat which works out the same. Only if you are VAT registered it would make sense to take a business lease so you can claim part of the VAT back. Saying that, the monthly price for a 12 month lease will be astronomical verses a lease for 24 months where we have some cracking deals. Any reason for the 12 month lease? Can you stretch it to 24 months?

I am aware of the VAT reclaim. We are just looking at 12 months at the moment as we have somebody on an initial 12 month contract however if you send me the equivalent 24 month cost then I can compare and consider if they are so much cheaper. I am looking at either a Fiesta size or Focus size with the only requirement being that it is automatic.

A used Ford Fiesta size vehicle on a 12 month lease has a guide price of £289.99+vat initial payment and then £289.99 +vat per month - total of £3769.87 + vat.

Where a brand new car Ford Fiesta size vehicle on a 24 month lease has a guide price of £1,245.30 + vat then 23 x £138.37 + vat per month - total of £4,427.81

Minimum initial payment is approx £400 +vat

We have also some good deals on BMW 2 and Vauxhall Mokka at similar prices and a Skoda Fabia at £109.99 per month - total of £3,427.77+vat and that is for 2 years not just 1 year.

You can see why I'm recommending the 2 year leasing and even if you did not want the car for 2 years it would still cost you less if you compared it.

You have to be in employment for at least 1 year or more and at a stable home address and prove you live their via a utility bill, bank statement. Is that what our partners said this to you, or are you assuming this? To get a specific monthly price on any car deal, we do have to look at it as if you were going to lease the vehicle which will be based on your circumstances. Otherwise, it would be a guess and estimate how much it would cost. I hope this is more clearer?
