What is
Contract Hire?
Contract hire is the most common form of leasing for brand new cars and must not be confused with a car loan. Contract hire is where you simply hire the vehicle from the leasing company over a set period. In that period it’s yours to drive around in, however you will never have the option of owning it.
You will have to return the vehicle because it does not belong to you.
Fixed monthly payments are put into place for the duration of the contractual period, these are calculated by the difference between the retail price of the car at the start and the estimated residual value of the car at the end of the contract.
At the end of your agreement you simply hand the car back.
The vehicle will be inspected for any damages and extra miles that you may have
accumulated which are invoiced and paid for by you.
